Chris & Natalie | West Palm Beach Wedding Photography

I don’t normally post this many photos…it can tend to be a bit overwhelming, but I couldn’t help myself this time! Natalie’s smile is infectious and I felt the need to share over 40 photos in a single blog post. The ceremony was set in the gorgeous First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach. Blue waters and Palm Beach yachts set the backdrop to many of their wedding photos. They held their wedding reception at the Kravis Center of West Palm Beach. Chris and Natalie also opted to have the brand new ‘Photo Booth’ at their reception. Contact me for details about having it at your wedding! Enjoy the photos!

The photos are just great. They look so relaxed. They really enjoyed the day and the photos are candid rather than posed for.

Tyler & Lauren | Boca Raton Wedding Photography

Tyler & Lauren were married at the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church of Coral Springs. A little bit of rain falling from the sky didn’t hold them back from walking outside for some gorgeous photos on the Church grounds! Their elegant reception was was held at the Boca Raton Country Club. I loved how those blue glasses really popped off their tables! Enjoy the photos from this amazing couple’s Boca wedding!

I caught Tyler taking a photo of his stunning bride!

Love each and every one! Her bracelet was a perfect accent to the bedazzled embellishment on her dress. She looks so elegant and classic. So beautiful! Great shots as always Alexi :)

Tyler & Jessica | Jupiter Wedding Photography

Isn’t Jessica is absolutely stunning in her lace gown?! She totally rocked the ‘Old Hollywood Glam’ as her bridal look. Tyler & Jessica had a very charming church ceremony with a fun, upbeat wedding reception overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I’ve been so crazy busy this wedding season I haven’t been doing very big blog posts, but I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite photos from their Jupiter Beach Wedding.

Judie Y. Cooke - June 2, 2011 - 5:50 pm

You captured all of my daughters beauty and charm, inside and out! I am so impressed with what I’ve seen so far! Tyler and Jessica both looked wonderful….great photography!! Thank you!!

I’m so blessed to have been featured on Style Me Pretty’s fabulous wedding blog! Read about the inspiration for this shoot below. Enjoy the full post on Style Me Pretty here: Style Me Pretty Photo Shoot by Alexi Shields

Check out the creative photography slideshow I created to coincide with the featured photos!

From Alexi Shields… The motivation behind the shoot was to really expand our creativity as wedding professionals and become more “trend setting,” if you will. Every wedding that I photograph is special, however I have always wanted the opportunity to “design” a wedding from beginning to end. I always have these great ideas for wedding themes and decided that a styled wedding photo shoot was a great way to make my visions come to life! A lot of very talented wedding professionals helped me with my vision of creating a modern twist on the “Great Gatsby” theme, but it really ended up becoming a more “modern honey bee” theme. The bride herself just channeled a “Great Gatsby” vibe with the look we styled for her…it just ended up flowing well with sunny decor.

The search was on for the perfect pieces to create this “faux” wedding inspiration. Everything from the place cards to the headpiece the bride wore was meticulously discussed and designed. I knew what I had in my head, but I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off by myself if it wasn’t for the amazing vendors involved. We got together one afternoon and just brainstormed the different details we could put into this shoot to really make it unique. We came across the Omphoy, Palm beach, which  gave off a sort of dark, modern mood with fabulous lighting and backgrounds to work with and we knew that would be the perfect venue for our Honey Bee inspirational shoot. I hope you enjoy!!

Chris & Monica | The Colony Palm Beach Wedding

What a crazy wedding season it’s been so far! I’ve seen weddings from Sarasota to Palm Beach and will be traveling even more in the coming months! (I’m talking photographing destination weddings in Italy!) In the meantime I hope you enjoy the teasers from Monica and Chris’s GORGEOUS Palm Beach Wedding at The Colony Hotel. Kudos to the awesome Noelle at The Colony, Palm Beach for making this wedding amazing for the happy couple! One of my favorite photos from the day were definitely at the ‘living wall’ on the famous Worth Ave!

A wedding is not complete without the question…’what leg do we put the garter on?’The first glimpse of the beautiful bride Monica
