2014 was an AMAZING year! Not only did Shane and I welcome a beautiful baby into the world (Ella Jo just turned ONE on Jan 28th!), but we still managed to meet and photograph some amazing couple’s weddings this year! I just realized I only posted 4 times in ALL of 2014…. that’s pretty sad. Except, I don’t regret my decision to take a ‘slow’ year because I’ve enjoyed watching my new bundle of joy grow up…and that’s been AMAZING!! I will do an entire post dedicated to our almost one year old soon, but for now….time to catch up on 2014 weddings!
Cody and Jana were married a few months back at the always stunning South Florida Museum in Bradenton, FL. Their wedding and reception both took place at the home of Snooty. (Bradenton’s ‘manatee’ mascot if you will.) Although the wedding decor does not revolve around Snooty, what you will find is a spanish influenced courtyard that glows when it’s lit up at night. You know what else lit up that day? Cody’s face everytime he caught a glimpse of his gorgeous bride Jana. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their wedding album!
I have been soooo behind on my blog posts! I am more up to date when posting on my facebook page…like me! www.facebook.com/alexishields
I’m a proud new(ish) mommy and my 8 month old little girl has been keeping me super busy!
I’m still available for booking weddings this season, so please reach out anytime with any photography questions you may have!
In the meantime, please enjoy some of my favorite photos from Jay and Vanessa’s elegant fiesta styled wedding at the beautiful Powel Crosley Mansion in sunny Sarasota Florida!
I’m a bit behind on my blogging….mainly because Shane and I recently welcomed a baby girl into the world!!
Well, I may be busy being a new mommy, but I’m in full swing into this wedding season and will be updating the blog more often!
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from Scott and Megan’s Marco Island wedding from a little while back.
